Sunny Deol, the man whose name is synonymous with patriotism in Bollywood, thinks our country needs a change this time. The macho actor who was recently seen lending support to ex-Mumbai Police Commissioner turned BJP politician Satyapal Singh's electoral campaign said in an interview given to us that India needs a change. When asked if Modi is the right person to lead India, Sunny said, "I dont know who is the right or wrong person but I certainly think our country needs a change."

Sunny also appealed to citizens to exercise their democratic right to vote. "Vote and choose the government you want. If you don't vote, then you have no right to complain about wrong governance."

Explaining his stance on Satyapal Singh, Sunny said he supported Mr. Singh because he has done a lot of positive things for the city of Mumbai. "We need more people like Satyapal Singh who can work towards the betterment of the nation. And I only support candidates that I know well and who will work well. There are only a few people like that."

Sunny also quashed rumours of him joining politics and made it clear that he has no political ambitions.

"I am not at all planning to enter politics. I am an actor and I only want to act. Here I can do what I want and I am the sole person doing it. But in politics you have to rely on many people to get your work done. My father once told me that if you make a promise you should fulfill it. In politics, it would not be right if I make a promise and can't fulfill it. So no plans of entering politics.

Well, all we can say is Sunny's presence would have instilled fear in the mind of the corrupt politicians. Alas! Sunny decides to stick to acting.
