MUMBAI: Here we bring exciting updates from Hollywood industry to keep you amused.

Spencer Matthews has 'soft spot' for Piers Morgan

Television personality Spencer Matthews says he has a "man crush" on journalist Piers Morgan and jokes baby son Theodore was named after him because it means "God's gift".

Matthews appeared on Good Morning Britain, and used the time to fawn over Morgan, reports leading publication.

Appearing via a video link from St Barts, alongside wife Vogue Williams, Matthews said to Morgan, "I admit I do have a soft spot for you, Piers."

When Morgan suggested that GMB's National Television Award nomination is "all about him", Matthews then added jokingly that his and Vogue's baby son Theodore, whose name means 'God's gift', was in fact, named after the GMB presenter.

Ackles has given up 'trying to predict' end of 'Supernatural'

Actor Jensen Ackles has been fighting demons and all things supernatural as Dean Winchester on the show Supernatural, which is now in its 14th season. He says he has given up trying to predict how it is going to end.

Over the past few seasons, Sam (actor Jared Padalecki) and Dean have talked a lot about where they are heading and how their time is going to come. When the show finally comes to an end, what would Ackles like to see happen?

"I don't think riding off happily into the sunset is in their future. They might do that and then run into a group of Leviathans that destroy them. Every year, I try to think about 'Well if this is the last season, how would we wrap it up? How would we end it?' But that just never happens," Ackles said in a statement to leading publication.

"For that reason, I've given up trying to predict how the whole thing is going to end. Sometimes I think that going out guns blazing would be a great way to go, but I would also like to leave it open so that we could revisit them in the future. There are a lot of shows that get rebooted nowadays.

"In fact, some shows have started, finished and have been rebooted - but then gone off air again during the tenure of our show. I would like to keep it open, so that there can be a future," he added.

The show is currently aired on AXN in India.

But is there an end to Supernatural in sight?

"I hope not. One of the reasons we are still doing this is because we all still love doing the show. We still love playing these characters. We still love telling these stories and the writers still keep it fresh and interesting. If they can continue to do that then, I certainly don't see an end in sight right now," said Ackles, who has also directed a few episodes of the show.

Drake signs $25 mn Las Vegas residency deal

Rapper Drake has signed a residency deal here worth $25 million.

He has signed a contract to do 12 shows over the next two years at Wynn Las Vegas' XS Nightclub, reports leading publication.

The In My Feelings hitmaker teased about the residency when he took the stage at the venue last week.

"Vegas! When I came back, I thought it'd be back at T-Mobile Arena or some (stuff). But I will be back here at XS all year. You will have a lot of chances to see me," Drake said, sending more than 1,600 concert goers into an uproar.

Drake continued to tease his possible residency when he took to Instagram to share a photograph from his performance at the venue which reportedly earned him $2 million. "New home," he wrote beside the image.

Nothing has been confirmed as of now.

XS Nightclub has previously booked a range of talented artists for gigs including The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Marshmello and David Guetta.

Bruce Willis is most chilled dude: James McAvoy

Actor James McAvoy has praised his Glass co-star Bruce Willis, saying he is the "most chilled dude".

For Glass, M. Night Shyamalan has converged the world of Split (a story about a man, essayed by McAvoy, with over 20 different personalities who kidnaps three teenage girls) and Unbreakable (about David Dunn, essayed by Willis, who gets superhero abilities after surviving a train crash).

"Bruce is the most chilled dude. He is so relaxed, but he is bringing such a heaviness to the part," McAvoy said in a statement to leading publication.

"That's beautiful, and something I haven't seen a lot in superhero movies: the weight, the toll that the work takes on them. And it's expressed so brilliantly by Bruce. His natural laidback-ness translates into something really sad in the character. David Dunn is this lonely man.

"All he really has in his life is his vigilante purpose and his son, and that's kind of it. There's such a purity and sadness in what Bruce is doing with that," he added.

The awaited sequel to Unbreakable and Split also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Sarah Paulson. Brought to India by Disney India, the film will open on Friday.

Bieber's mother raves over son's new wife Hailey Baldwin

Pop star Justin Bieber's mother raved over her son's new wife Hailey Baldwin in an adorable selfie.

On Tuesday, Bieber‘s mother Pattie Mallette shared a sweet selfie of herself with Baldwin, 21.

"What a gift!" Mallette, 43, wrote adding a heart-eyed emoji.

In the shot, Baldwin can be seen planting a kiss on Mallette's cheek

"Love you," Baldwin, who secretly married Bieber, 24, at a New York City courthouse in September, commented on the post.

Earlier on Tuesday, the newlyweds were spotted in Los Angeles wearing matching pink ensembles.

Bieber sported a pink hoodie paired with black sweatpants and Vans. Meanwhile, Baldwin rocked a pink tracksuit, white sneakers and pulled her newly dyed pink tresses into a sleek bun.

Although the couple officially tied the knot a few months ago, they plan on having an intimate ceremony for friends and family - but they're in no rush.

Bieber and Baldwin initially eyed a January bash but will likely push to a later month.

Ed Sheeran quits smoking weed

Singer Ed Sheeran has quit smoking marijuana because he prefers to be "alert".

The singer, who wrote the song Sweet Mary Jane about his love of the drug in 2015, said that he has given up his smoking sessions as he found that the psychoactive substance clouded his creativity, reports leading publication.

Sheeran added, "I've stopped smoking weed. I found myself just sitting at home watching films. I only ever create (when I'm) sober. I like to be alert. I find most ideas happen when you have a cup of tea. For me, anyway."

He went on to explain that he has also decided to ditch alcohol until his live concerts are over.

"We don't have booze in the venue until after the gig. I love embracing chaos, but only when the job is done. I worked really hard to get into this position - and I'm going to continue working hard to maintain that position and grow," he said.
