Veteran actress Zohra Sehgal passes away

This is sad sad news!!!


Veteran, jubilant and riveting performer Zohra Sehgal passed away today earlier in the day. As per reports coming in, Zora breathed her last at around 4pm in Delhi today (Thursday, 10 July 2014).


Her family confirmed her demise to certain section of the media.


She was 102.


Zohra started her career as a dancer with Uday Shankar in 1935. She has featured in many Bollywood movies latest being Saawariya and Cheeni Kum.


She has received the coveted Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan, among other awards.


Her health condition deteriorated overtime and the cause of death is said to be old age, but we are yet to get a confirmation on the same.

I always did love watching Zohra act in what ever movies or TV shows she was in she was quite an excellent actress she will be missed. RIP and may God bless you as your journey carries on. Condolences to Zohra family.
