Dhai Kilo Ka Prem serial will be one of it’s kind to be telecasted on Star Plus. The show is regarding two individuals who are overweight and plump. As they are have to face lot of rejection form the society when they find each other and fall in love , it forms a hear warming ad touching relationship. Within this unique and interesting plot, we have this show about to go on air from March 2017. The show’s launch is being delayed due to some technical reasons. It is presently in its post production stage and will be telecasted in the afternoon slot on Star Plus.

Dhai Kilo Ka Prem will have leading TV actors working in it along with some new comers. The star cast will include Mansi Joshi Roy, Kiran Karmarkar, Benzir Sheikh, Meherzan Mazda, Anjali Anand and Kishwar Merchant.

Anjali Anand has been signed in the lead role for the serial. She will be playing the female lead, she was perviosuly seen in the web series Untag. Anjali , thanks to her plump figure seems to be an apt choice.

Among the other actors, Manasi Roy needs no introduction. She is popular for her family oriented serials. Kiran Karmarkar will be playing the father of Anjali’s character. Kiran is known for his subtle portrayal of family characters and his simplicity is endearing to all.

Star Plus has a bunch of new series coming up for it’s audience. The afternoon slot is getting a gradual revamp with not just family serials abut entertaining ones.
