Industry mourns the demise of producer-director Ravi Ojha

The demise of producer-director Ravi Ojha has left the entertainment industry shocked.

Known for helming Hindi dailies like Sasural Genda Phool, Hum Saath Aath Hai, Sajda and Bengali soap like Premer Phande, he breathed his last today morning (15 November) after a heart failure.

Having been in an immobile state for a long time, though he did not contribute physically, he was a visionary and idol for his team. The warmth that he possessed was quickly adapted by his fellow mates making his company one of best ones to work with.

Here are TV actors who have worked with him reminisce the creative man through Tellychakkar.com

Jay Soni (Sasural Genda Phool)
He has given me the biggest show of my career. I am really sad to hear about his death. May Ravi sir’s soul rest in peace and he keeps showering his blessings on us.

Sana Amin Sheikh (Gustakh Dil)
I am saddened by this news.  I had met Ravi sir at his home after we launched Gustakh Dil and Mitali ma'am, his wife had introduced me to him. She told me he liked my work as Laajo and since he was not in a position to move or talk, he just smiled at me. The glitter in his eyes said it all, and I can never forget that. May his soul rest in peace and may God give strength to Romit (his son) who is a good friend and to his wife Mitali Ma'am.

Ankita Bhargava (Sajda Tere pyaar Mein)
He has always been a very beautiful person and producer. I have heard so much about him from my parents. I hope he rests in peace and his family gets the strength to cope with the loss.

Bhairavi Raichura (Sasural Genda Phool)
One of the finest maker I have worked with and a lovely human being. May his soul rest in peace.

Vibhav Roy (Gustakh Dil)
I never had the fortune to work with him directly because he had taken a back seat by the time Gustakh Dil happened. However, the principles on which his production house operated speak volumes about his greatness and solidarity. May his soul rest in peace. "

Ragini Khanna (Sasural Genda Phool)
I still remember the last scene we shot together, I would constantly question and he had all the answers. With the heavy heart and tears in my eyes I write this... RIP Ravi sir. You will be my most special and cherished human being who made me believe in goodness in this world (as posted on Facebook).

And this is what his well wishers in the Bengali industry shared about him on their social media accounts...

Parno Mittra

Rajdeep Gupta
I have no heavy words to describe him .. or the feeling ... I owe every bit of my success to him .. "sir I am sure you will know my subtext" .. may your soul rest and rule in peace ..

Sudiptaa Chakraborty
