Colors

The recent Uttarakhand tragedy has left the whole country in despair and grief. With thousands of people still missing in the flood-ravaged Uttarakhand, the Government rescue operations are on for a week now. As the evacuation process continues, every city and town of India has been busy collecting money and relief materials for the flood-hit people.

In such a troubled phase, television has in its own way contributed to lending their support to the grief-stricken people to help them overcome their misfortune.

Colors, one of the leading GECs, express their concern in this time of need, with the actors from the channel coming together to appeal to their viewers through a promo to extend their support to the Uttarakhand Relief operation.

Artistes from their hit shows, Toral Rasputra (Balika Vadhu), Shefali Sharma and Neha Bagga (Bani – Ishq Da Kalma), Aakansha Singh and Kunal Karan Kapoor (Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha), Jay Soni and Shamin Mannan (Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki), Dheeraj Dhoopar and Dipika Samson (Sasural Simar Ka), Tina Dutta (Uttaran) and Vivian Dsena (Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon) have done their needful to spread the awareness amongst masses to contribute to the Uttarakhand Relief Fund.
