Leena Jumani who debuted on television as Khemi (Santo’s younger sister) in Bandini has decided to quit the show, as she did not like her look post leap and was not satisfied the way her track was shaping up.

“I conveyed my grievances to the creative team. I wasn’t happy with my look and or the way my role was shaping up. They tried to work it out but it didn’t happen. So I took the decision to leave the show. I do not know what they are going to do with my character as it is barely there now. I shot with them last month for five days but after that they did not call me to shoot and now I am not part of it,” says Jumani.

She is doing a cameo in “Tere Liye. My character is similar to that of Sushmita Sen’s character from Main Hoon Naa. I play a teacher and I am currently shooting for this show only. Since I recently left Bandini I have just started giving auditions so as of now I have not signed anything new.”

Leena also did an episodic in Balaji’s popular horror show Koi Aane Ko Hai on Colors.
