Netflix Upstarters prepping up with the CEOs

MUMBAI: Everyone is fascinated by an inspiring story of an underdog - the journey of someone who has a dream worth making sacrifices for and at the end, win against all odds to leave for themselves and others living around them.

Netflix’s film Upstarts is one of those inspiring underdog stories that follows the journey of three young college graduates Kapil (Priyanshu Painyuli), Yash (Chandrachoor Rai) and Vinay (Shadab Kamal) from a small town in India, who are captivated by the startup mania sweeping the country. These three friends now want to start their own company that will change the world - while turning them from rags to riches over a long period of struggles.

When the star cast met the CEO’s of great startups like Ola, Urban Ladder and Red Bus to discuss insights, they all agreed that the ladder to success is never an easy one to climb. There are roadblocks that slow you down but ultimately with perseverance one can reach their destination and such is the situation with Kapil, Yash and Vinay. The three key learning from these intelligent CEO’s were:

1. Discipline:
Discipline and success go hand in hand. Discipline brings stability in one’s life which is a must for every human being if they want to achieve their targeted goals. Discipline often keeps a person in control and when entering an industry full of startups its the first habit one should inculcate.

2. Do not fear failure:
We can choose to see failure as "the end of the world," or as proof of just how inadequate we are, or we can look at failure as a learning experience that it often is. Every time we fail at something, we can always look for the lesson we're meant to learn. These lessons are very important. And when entering a startup industry we are showered with failures and risks, and hence it is very important to not lose hope and continue working hard.

3. Take criticism positively:
We take criticism personally as an insult to who we are instead one should thank their critics for making time and giving valuable feedback be it positive or negative. People should actually go back and try to improve because at the core of criticism lies a valuable learning opportunity.

The film is produced by Bandra West Pictures. Starring in lead roles are younguns Priyanshu Painyuli, Shadab Kamal, Chandrachoor Rai, Sheetal Thakur, Rajeev Siddhartha, Swati Semwal, along with seasoned actor Eijaaz Khan. The film is all set to release on Netflix this October 18 globally!
