Television actors mourn the death of Wajid Khan

MUMBAI: The nation woke up to the upsetting news of music composer Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid duo passing away.

Reportedly, Wajid was hospitalised for a while at Chembur hospital for the treatment of his ailing kidneys. Wajid’s brother Sajid confirmed with the media that Wajid was also suffering from COVID-19 however, he lost his life because of a heart attack.

The entire industry is in shock. Salim Merchant, Sonu Nigam and several others expressed their grief on social media.

Television actors Karanvir Bohra and Ravi Dubey also mourned the death of Wajid. Both Karanvir and Ravi have worked with Wajid in the past.

Karanvir took to Instagram and shared a picture with Wajid and a few others. He wrote: This is so so so so so sad.... I can't believe it... What's going on? This is such a tragedy.... kindest and the warmest person I've met…a good human gone....
