MUMBAI: Shruti Haasan is one of the most loved and well known actresses in the South who has also worked in many Hindi films. The actress is the daughter of South and Hindi superstar Kamal Haasan and makes waves with every appearance.

Shruti has been making headlines due to her break up with boyfriend Shantanu Hazarika. The duo were one of the most loved tinseltown couples and now their break-up news has come as a shock to her fans. 

Now as per certain reports in a news portal, the once ‘much in love’ couple have reportedly called it quits due to commitment issues. While Shruti was expecting to tie the knot, Shantanu was not committing and this is the reason they reportedly called it quits.

Shruti and Shantanu were reportedly in a live-in relationship for four years before calling it quits.

On the work front, Shruti was last seen in the 2023 movie Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, opposite Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. She will be reprising her role in the Salaar: Part 2.
