MUMBAI: The talented Shabbir Ahluwalia currently plays Abhishek Mehra on Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya. He debuted with Hip Hip Hurray but gained recognition through Kahiin To Hoga. Shabbir also won the third season of Khatron Ke Khiladi and has hosted reality shows such as Nach Baliye and Dancing Queen.

As per media reports, he will soon be seen in a new role. Shabbir will apparently make his digital debut with an ALTBalaji’s series. There is a buzz doing the rounds that ALTBalaji is coming up with a show based on match-fixing, and if sources are to be believed, Shabbir has been roped in to play a character of a fixer.

There are also a lot of reports that suggest that Kumkum Bhagya is all set to take a leap and that Shabbir may not be a part of the show, but nothing is confirmed yet.
